Happy November

Greetings, fellow ROWers…Thank you for stopping by.

So, it’s November, and while I’m not participating in NaNo (all the best to those of you who are), I still want to complete the first draft of my children’s chapbook by the end of the month.

Two of the four appendices for Deb’s book are written. The other two just need to be fleshed out. I should have one of the two chapters that still need to be written completed by the end of next week at the latest.

I hope to read through the final twenty pages of Manuscript #2 and go over some details with the author tomorrow.

The prospectus has been edited. (I’ve worked with Ron before. I truly hope he can complete his memoir. I had so much fun editing the chapters he has already written.)

Sometimes I post a day or two late, but I’m keeping up with my blogs. I’m working on a piece for a guest blog spot, but haven’t hit upon “that certain something” yet.

I have to spend more time reading, but I’m in good shape to finish the two books I’d like to have completed by the end of the week.

While I love attending births, my writing and editing persona has taken centre stage for the time being. However, I’m sure my desire to complete my doula certification will be fueled after I meet Toni Harman of www.oneworldbirth.net next Wednesday.

I haven’t chosen a song of the week as of yet. I have to get on that.

I still have time to exercise three times this week, but I did miss Monday’s workout.

Other things to do this month…Submit an idea for publication. Possibly take up the Art Every Day Challenge at http://creativeeveryday.com

I’ll be popping by to say hi to some of you in the next few days.

Happy November, all

  1. I didn’t realise so many people had excercise as a ROW80 goal – such a brilliant idea.
I’m almost slightly envious you’re not doing NaNo, but it sounds like you have enough on your plate without it, so maybe not.
Good luck with the rest of the week – and finding that ‘certain something.’

    • Thanks for stopping by. Not to be envious…Silly me joined PiBoIdMo and Art Every Day. That plus my current goals should keep me out of mischief–and my bed. *sigh* *grin*

  2. You work in all facets of creation, impressive! I’m sort of an advocate of the busier you are the more you get done, but I think you’ve got me beat. Best wishes for the next week.

    • I’m so glad there’s someone else out there who doesn’t think busy is synonymous for spinning one’s wheels. I joined PiBoIdMo and Art Every Day plus took on the NaNo alternative of finishing the first draft of my children’s chapbook…on top of my other goals – and I’m feeling more pumped than ever. (Must remember to sleep though. *grin*)

  3. Great job! Sounds like you have been busy but still chugging along. I know all about the posting late thing–that happens to me sometimes with the ROW80 posts, but…better late than never right? Good luck on your goals the rest of the week!

  4. Wow! you’re one busy lady. I’m impressed by your progress and have high hopes you’ll be on your way.

    • I very much enjoyed my #wordmongering session on Twitter this morning. I edited 2799 words of my children’s chapbook and get re-energized to get the first draft completed by the end of November, my alternative to NaNo. Have a great day, and thanks for popping by.
